I was holding a Madrid street photographers workshop with my student and to be honest it was great fun for a variety of reasons. My student Jani was fantastic, a really relaxed person who was a brilliant listener. Being on her own for this workshop meant she learnt a heck of a lot in three hours with the intrepid Irishman!

I also was in the mood for photography as I had an obligation, and I just happen to love teaching all I’ve learnt over 25 years of taking pictures in Madrid and around the world. One thing I’ve found is its never to late to learn in photography and there’s millions of options for each photographic situation that can work.

But certain things have to stand: 1. The information in the photograph. 2. Good composition. 3. Clean backgrounds. 4. Beautiful light. y Viola!

I really like this image of the mannequin legs and the two boys but I don’t really know why.
